We are so very sorry and deeply saddened to hear of Peter’s death. Peter was our childhood friend, when the family lived in Kilkeel. He was the life and soul of our gatherings, so quick witted, absolutely hilarious, an intelligent and gifted person. Even then ( between the age of 10 & 15) all his friends, on the Manse Road, used to say he would end up on stage. He could master any accent, even at that young age and was a great raconteur. When the family decided to move to Newry we were all devastated to lose him from our daily company. It is without a doubt that our childhood would not have been the same without him. Sincere condolences to Julia, Annie, Joe and the entire family circle… from Karen & Raymond (Sloss) and all of Peter’s Manse Road friends.
No words of warning, no last farewell,
but in our hearts you will always dwell.
