December 20th will soon be upon us. It doesn't seem to be a year ago that we lost our friend. His personality and charm are still felt, as is incredulity at his untimely passing. When discussing all the good times we had with him and Ali, we still laugh and raise a glass or two in his name (and shed a quiet tear).

We learn of Gerry's passing with great sadness. We also give heartfelt thanks that we had the good fortune to meet him. Gerry was one of the kindest and most genuine people we have had the privilege of knowing. He was the first person we met when we arrived in Cayman and took us under his wing, always making time for a chat. We miss him and will endeavour to take a leaf from his book, to live life fully and with enthusiasm and vigour. We send our love and condolences to Ali and the rest of his family.
