Words are never adequate in moments like these. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I will always remember the great memories that I have in knowing Alan. From our school days at Redburn Primary and Bangor Tech. Playing football together all those years. Getting our first job at Short Brothers and Harland.
Even as we went our different ways as adults, deep inside we were never apart.
I have so many happy memories of spending time at each other's homes when we were growing up. I was very lucky to have know him. I know Alan fought a brave battle with his family by his side.
God bless him and all of you at this time of sorrow.
