My deepest condolences to Joan's family for your loss. Joan was a friend of my mother's, Lena Tease, as they sat together in Harmony Hill church every Sunday. When I visited my Mum, I got to know Joan and she always took a friendly interest in my daughter and me and our doings and invited us to her house on several occasions. After my mother's death, we kept in touch and I last saw her in church in January this year, at the last service for Susan, the assistant minister.
She was a true lady, with a good heart. She was a lovely person to have known.
