Cora Powell
Powell, Cora (neé McGrory) 28th August 2022. 2nd Anniversary
Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her children Gary, Shane, Conall, Máire, Donna and Tina, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, sister Margaret, brother John, Gerard, nieces and nephews, wider family circle and treasured friends.
She never failed to do her best,
Her heart was true and tender,
She worked, and toiled for those she loved,
And left them to remember.
We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore,
We did our duty to the end,
Til we could do no more.
In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.
You left behind some aching hearts,
That loved you most sincere,
We never shall and never will forget you Mother dear.
Mummy's 2nd Anniversary mass, along with her father James McGrory, 15th anniversary (29th of August 2009) will be held on Wednesday 28th of August at 7.30pm at St. Malachy's Chapel, Armagh.
May their gentle souls rest in peace.
