We the family of Damian Begley would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on his recent death.

To our family, friends and neighbours for the support, compassion and generosity throughout the wake. Thank you to those who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and those who co-ordinated the car parking, we were overwhelmed by the kindness shown to us and we will be forever grateful to each of you for helping us through such a difficult time.

Thanks also to the North West Cancer Centre, Palliative District Nurses, Ward 50 Altnagelvin, Rapid Response Omagh Hospital and Palliative Care, Omagh Hospital, Fr McElhennon, Hospital Chaplain and Termonmaguirc Cancer Care.

Thanks also to Fr McAnenly PP, Carrickmore for the way he supported Damian during his illness and the pastoral care he provided.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation and gratitude.

Damian's month month mass will be held in St Oliver Plunkett's Church, Creggan on 12 September 2025 at 7.30 pm.
