The family of the late Damien Hughes wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. Thanks to all who called at the house, expressed condolences, brought food, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, made donations and who attended the wake and funeral.
The support and comfort shown from all the friends and family over the difficult period was unmatched. We would also like to thank those who could not attend the wake or funeral, but sent messages and followed the mass online
We wish to express our appreciation to all the staff of the St.Johns Southern Area Hospice in Newry for the loving care they provided to Damien in his short time with them. We will be forever grateful to everyone who helped and supported us.
We would also like to thank all the district nurses who visited us over the last few months. Their professional care and gentle kindness was amazing.
Many thanks to Eilis Fox her beautiful musical contribution to our Requiem Mass. A special thanks to Fr McHugh for the wonderful funeral service and support.
Too all the staff in Gordon’s chemist, the doctors,nurses and staff of moy health centre, Bronagh and the ladies of the parochial hall and the ladies and staff of OOS - we offer you a massive thankyou.

Damien’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 7.00pm in St Jarlaths Church, Blackwatertown on Wednesday 7th of May.
The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered up for all the intentions of those who helped over this difficult period of time.
