Daniel (Dan) McCartan
McCartan (Aughlisnafin) 24th June 2026.
Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Daniel dearly beloved husband of Maureen and loving father of Brian (Jennifer), Marian (Zsolt), Darren (Catriona). Brother of Anne, Colin, Michael and the late Pat, Malachy & Sean.R.I.P.
Daniel’s remains will repose at his home 41 Aughlisnafin Road Castlewellan from 6.00pm to 9.00pm today Thursday and from 1.00pm to 9.00pm Friday, family and friends welcome. Daniel’s remains will leave his home on Saturday at 9.15am to arrive at St Marys Church Aughlisnafin for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, daughter, sons, son-in-law, partners, grandchildren, sister, brothers, nieces, nephews and entire family circle.
