Daniel (Danny) McCartan
We, the wife & families of the late Danny McCartan would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their support, kindness, and prayers during the passing of Danny, throughout the wake, funeral service and every day since. Your presence, messages, calls, cards, floral tributes, and donations to Marie Curie brought us great comfort during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful for the compassion and solidarity shown by our family, friends, neighbours, and well-wishers. Your support has meant more to us than words can fully express. May you all be blessed for the kindness you have shown to our family. Thank you to Canon Denis McKinley for his beautiful Requiem Mass and his kind words spoken to the family, to Finbarr Keaveney for the lovely singing and music and to all who took part in the Mass.
A special word of thanks to the staff at Craigavon Area Hospital and the Ulster Hospital, for the care and kindness shown to Danny during his time there. Thanks also to palliative team, district nurse and doctors at the Donard Group, who attended to Danny with great care and professionalism Finally our sincere thanks to Cunningham Bros. Funeral Directors for the professional way in which they carried out the funeral and for the care, respect and dignity shown to us at this sad time. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. Danny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 25th July at 5pm in St. Malachy’s Church, Castlewellan.
