We, the family of the late Daniel McDonnell, wish to express sincere gratitude to all who have supported us during our recent, sudden bereavement.
We are truly grateful to everyone who attended the funeral home and Funeral Mass and to those who sent Mass cards, text messages and support through social media. Your kindness and prayers have brought us great comfort.
We would like to acknowledge and give thanks to Julie Ann McElroy, Michael Reevey and Michael Bates who worked on Daniel before the paramedics arrived. Thank you to the Paramedics and also the P.S.N.I for their kindness and consideration on the evening of Daniel's passing.
We say thank you to Rev Father Kevin Malcolmson for administering the Last Rites and prayers with Daniel and for the beautiful Funeral Mass, spoken with care, compassion and dignity.
Thank you to Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Director for all their help, guidance and professional manner during our bereavement. Thank you to all in Clarke's Pharmacy.
Also, thank you to Maria, Karen and Sinead (Tully) for the beautiful singing during Daniel's
Funeral Mass. Thank you Marita Cosgrove for the beautiful flowers for Daniel's grave. Thank you to Shane Manley who has been a great
support to our family and for always being there for us as a family. We would also like to thank Liz Manley and Mary Rooney.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family's deepest gratitude.
Daniel will be missed so much by his mother and father; Rita
and Michael, sisters Arlene and Clara, brother Dwayne and brother-in-law Paul Traynor, all Daniel's nieces and nephews and Daniel's beautiful, caring girlfriend Laura.
Daniel's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 12th July at 11.30am in St Mary's Church Newtownbutler.
