We, the family of the late Daniel Shiels, 84 Strabane Old Road, wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Sincere thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards, and flowers. Thanks also to friends and neighbours for providing refreshments during the wake. Your help and support was greatly appreciated.
To the doctors at Cityview Medical, the doctors and nurses and the palliative care team in Wards 24 and 42 who cared for Daniel in a very compassionate and dignified manner.
A very special thanks to Fr Lagan for the beautiful Mass and to Fidelma McCormick for providing the beautiful music. Thank you to Campbell’s Bar and Old Docks for refreshments during the wake, to Posh Platters for the beautiful buffet after the funeral and to Vivo Strabane Old Road for the sandwiches supplied during the wake.
Sincere thanks to Kieran and the staff at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their guidance, care and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Daniel’s Month’s Mind Mass and his son Frankie’s 5th Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, on Monday 26th February 2024 at 7.30 pm. Everyone welcome.
