Acknowledgement
The family of the late Danny McGavigan, Strathfoyle, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, phone calls, messages, flowers and food, these were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.
We were especially touched by the kindness of our own family circle, our neighbours and friends and to those who called to the house, lined the funeral route or attended the funeral.
Thanks to Dr Cosgrove and the staff at Cityview Medical who looked after Danny so well before his death. We extend a special thanks to Fr Canny, Fr Sean O’Donnell and Fr Roni of the Waterside Parish for their great support and kind words. We would like to thank Strathfoyle Community Association who continue to supported the family in many ways. Thanks to all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Danny’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle on Wednesday 23rd February 2022 at 6.30 pm.
