The family of the late David Henderson wish to pass on their most heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them in the time following their sad bereavement.

To all the kind neighbours and friends who called at our home, brought gifts, sent cards, messages of sympathy, telephoned, gave donations, attended the funeral or who helped in any other way.

Special thanks to all the staff on Acute Admissions Ward Craigavon Area Hospital for ensuring that David’s final days were comfortable. Thanks also to the Doctors, Nurses and all other staff of Gillis Memory Centre, Armagh for the care given to David; our most sincere thanks go especially to Anne Basketfield, memory nurse/key worker for her unwavering dedication, compassion and support.

Our most profound thanks to the Rev. Peter Thompson for calling with the family and for the beautiful funeral service. Gratitude and thanks also to Raphael Burnside, to the organist and also to the grave digger for their courteous and professional services leading up to, during and after the funeral service.

Heartfelt thanks also to Pastor Richard Aladeff for calling with us at our home. Finally, our thanks must go to Murial Boyle and colleagues for providing and serving the lovely tea in the church hall following the proceedings.

We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by everyone as a token of our grateful appreciation.

From David’s son George and his fiancée Jo-Ann
