The death has occurred of:
Declan O'NEILL
The family of the late Declan O’Neill would like to thank their relatives, friends and neighbours who provided such comfort and support following their recent sad bereavement.
Special thanks to all who called at the house, brought refreshments, helped out serving tea and refreshments, sent flowers, cards and letters, and to those who attended Declan’s Requiem Mass. Your kindness and support are greatly appreciated by the family.
We would like to thank the staff of the South West Acute Hospital who looked after Declan in his final weeks and were a great source of comfort to the family during his final days.
Thanks to Monsignor Peter O'Reilly who administered Declan’s last rites and to Fr Eugene Boland for his support to the family. Special thanks to Fr Kevin McElhennon who celebrated Declan’s Requiem Mass and to Fr Damian Bresnahan who concelebrated the Mass. Thanks also to Aoibheann and Caoileann McEnhill for their beautiful singing and music throughout the service.
We also thank the GAA community who formed a Guard of Honour at Declan’s funeral and in particular the Omagh St Enda’s Club Committee who provided immense support to the family throughout this difficult time and kindly provided the venue for refreshments following the funeral. Thanks also to the Sperrin Restaurant for catering the funeral meal.
Finally, we thank Maguire’s Funeral Service for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out Declan’s funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a mark of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
The Month’s Mind Mass for Declan will be celebrated in Christ the King Church, Omagh, on Sunday 11th August 2024 at 12 noon.
