The death has occurred of:
Derek Leeman
The family of the late Derek Leeman wish to express our sincere and
heartfelt appreciation to everyone who extended their sympathy and
support following the recent loss of our
much-loved Husband, Father, Granda and Brother.
We have been deeply touched by the kindness and generosity
shown by our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues throughout this difficult time.
Sincere thanks to all who paid their respects, sent Mass cards and
sympathy cards, attended the wake and funeral, travelled long distances,
or joined via webcam. We are especially grateful to those who assisted
during the wake and brought food; your help, friendship and support were greatly appreciated.
We would like to thank the nurses and doctors in
the A&E Department at Craigavon Area Hospital for the care,
compassion and support shown to Derek and our family.
A special word of thanks to Fr. David for celebrating a beautiful Requiem Mass,
and to Cathy Kelly and Patricia Hagan for the beautiful music.
We also wish to thank Lislea Community Centre for the use
of their equipment, Ann and Philip from Armagh Blooms for the
beautiful floral arrangements, and the Charlemont Arms Hotel
for the lovely food and professional service provided after the funeral.
Finally, we offer our heartfelt gratitude to
Hugo and all the staff at JJ McArdle & Sons Funeral Directors
for the compassion, guidance and professionalism with which they
carried out all the funeral arrangements during this difficult time.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement
will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Derek’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on
Wednesday 20th May at 7.30pm in St. Malachy’s Chapel, Armagh.
