McFerran-Dunloy

The sons, daughters and entire family circle of the late Dermot R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. Liam Blaney for his warmth, spiritual support and celebrating of the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Fr. Albert Mc Nally and Father Darren Brennan P.P. for their pastoral care and con celebrating the funeral mass.

Thanks to Joe McKeague and Kevin Mawdsley for the wonderful music, the church sacristans - Kate Downey and Martin Brogan and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.

The family wish to thank the kind relatives, friends and neighbours who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards and sent donations in lieu of flowers to Air Ambulance. For those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral, we are truly grateful.

The family would like to acknowledge Dr Karen Darragh (Causeway Hospital), Dr Jonathan McKelvey (Cullybackey Health Centre) and their respective teams, who always gave Dermot such dedicated and compassionate care, for this they will be eternally grateful. Thanks also to the community nursing team, Dolores, Oonagh and Niamh who were always there when needed.

They would like to sincerely thank Michael Og and Gregory from Mc Kiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism. The family are truly grateful for the guidance and support they gave with every detail of the funeral arrangements.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Dermot will be celebrated on Sunday 5th November at 10.30 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Dunloy.
