Desmond McKENNA
The family of the late Desmond McKenna (R.I.P.) who passed away Monday 21st September 2020 wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to: Everyone who called at the wake, brought Mass and Sympathy cards, made donations in lieu to Charis Cancer Care or Laurel House and attended the funeral;
Special thanks to all our Relatives and Friends who helped out during the wake.
To the Doctors and staff of Laurel House and the District Nurses for the care, warmth and kindness provided to Desmond during his illness.
To Niall A Loughran funeral directors for the professional and caring manner in which the funeral arrangements was carried out.
A special word of thanks to Fr Hughes and Fr McGinley forvisiting Desmond and the family during his illness, attending the house during the wake, for celebrating Requiem Mass and for the touching eulogy. Thanks also to all our Relatives and Friends for the time they spent with us during the wake;
To Margaret Anne Conlon, Patrick Slevin, Cathal Corey and Declan Corey for the beautiful singing and music during the Mass;
As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally who was so kind to us, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Desmond’s months mind Mass will be held on Friday October 23rd at 7.30pm in St Joseph’s, Killeenan. Due to government guidelines (re: Coronavirus) the months mind mass will be restrictive to family and close friends. Alternatively Desmond’s Mass can be viewed using the link below.
