The Wife, Daughters, Sons and Family Circle of the late Desmond Watters wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
The Family wish to convey their gratitude to those who sent sympathy cards and floral tributes, called at the family home, telephoned, attended the funeral, those who stood respectfully along the route as the cortege made its way to Tobermore Cemetery and all who helped in any other way.
Grateful thanks to those who gave gifts, brought food, and supported the family at this very difficult time.
Thank you to those who paid tribute to Desmond on social media and watched the funeral service via livestream, we took great comfort from your very kind words.
A special word of thanks to the Rev William McCrea for his invaluable spiritual support and prayers over the years to Desmond and also for his words of comfort in the home and at the funeral service as well as his ministry in song, and to Sophie Shiels and for singing at the Graveside.
Sincere thanks also to Draperstown Surgery and O’Kanes pharmacy for their dedicated care and commitment over the years.
Special thanks to Pipe Sergeant Graham Drummond for leading the funeral cortege from the funeral home.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to those who made charitable donations in lieu of flowers to Missionary Work, totalling £6,000, we are overwhelmed and truly grateful.
