The death has occurred of:
Dessie Elliott
Dessie Elliott R.I.P.
We, the daughters of the late Dessie Elliott, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered us sympathy, kindness and support following the sad passing of our father, Dessie.
We are truly grateful to the emergency services, our extended Elliott family, friends and everyone who came together to support us and comfort us during such a difficult time. The kindness, love and compassion shown to us will never be forgotten and has meant more to us than words can say.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the wake and Funeral Mass, and those who took the time to watch online and remember Dessie from afar. A special word of thanks to Father Clarke for the beautiful Funeral Mass and St Malachy's Hurling Club for the guard of honour. A thank you to Quinn Bros for their kindness, help and support throughout the arrangements, and for the use of the funeral home.
To everyone who helped with the arrangements, called, sent messages, offered prayers or simply stood by us during this difficult time, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude.
Your kindness and support have been a great comfort to us and will always be remembered.
Dessie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held at 11.30am on Sunday, 26th July 2026, in St John the Baptist Church, Drumcree.
