Dessie HENRY
Following the passing of our wonderful and amazing husband, father and grandfather Dessie, we, The Henry Family (Strathfoyle) would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has sympathised with us in our recent sad loss. To those who have paid their respects, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and flowers, these were a great comfort to us all at this difficult time.
Our sincere thanks to Fr. Noel McDermott PP for his spiritual guidance, care and support and for the beautiful requiem funeral mass.
We would also like to acknowledge Fr. Canny and Fr. O’Donnell for their prayers and support during Dessie’s illness.
A special word of thanks to the fantastic team of carers from Glencaring who have looked after Dessie at home with unfailing kindness and dedication; to all the district nurses from Eglinton and to the doctors and district nurses of Glendermott medical for all their support; and to Karen McCauley OT for her continued support and help to Dessie.
We will be forever grateful to Marie Curie and to the nurses from Foyle Hospice for the care that Dessie received in the final week of his life.

Dessie’s months mind mass will be celebrated at St. Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle on Saturday 19th February 2022 at 6pm, everyone is welcome to attend.
