It is with a deep sense of sadness that I, daughter Doreen, announce the passing of my mother on Thursday, August 13, 2020 after a long struggle with complications from Covid 19. A long-time resident of Carrickfergus, she spent her last months at Colinvale Court Nursing Home for EMI in Belfast where she received wonderful care and attention until the end. She will be sadly missed by myself, my husband Brendan, grandchildren Paul and Simon and step-grandchildren Steven and Ryan.

Due to present circumstances, mummy’s ashes will be held at Mulholland Funeral Home until they can be retrieved and brought to Canada where she spent many happy years.
Her love of life and laughter were with her to the end. She never complained and did her utmost to survive this awful virus.
Rest well dear mother and know you were deeply loved.
