We, the family of the late Dorothy Rebecca Nethery, Kirlish, Drumquin, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who offered condolences, sympathised, and supported us during our recent bereavement. Special thanks to those who called in person, those who telephoned, sent cards, gifts, and texts. Deepest gratitude to all who were present at the wake and those who attended the funeral service.

Thanks to Rev Jonathan Cowan for his support, for conducting the funeral service and his thoughtful address encapsulating Dorothy’s life and faith. Also, thanks to Ann Brown of the Faith Mission for her contribution at the service. The family thank Keane Davison for providing the music.

Sincere gratitude to Armstrong Funeral Directors for the sensitive and dignified manner in which they carried out the arrangements. Thank you to David Buchanan and Desmond Hewitt for preparing the grave. Thanks to Barbara Pinkerton and those who assisted in catering. Thank you to Drumquin Presbyterian Church for the use of the facilities for the funeral and to those church members who assisted before, during and after the service.

We thank all who cared for Dorothy over the years including those from the various care agencies who were always professional, conscientious, and sympathetic. Thanks to all at Drumquin Surgery and Bradley’s Chemist for their dedication and understanding. Also, thanks to the staff of South West Acute Hospital who provided excellent care during Dorothy’s final weeks. A special thanks to the Rev Edwin Frazer for his spiritual support and compassion to Dorothy during this time.

In particular, we will be forever grateful and indebted to Dorothy’s niece Jane who dutifully, patiently, and lovingly attended to her aunt’s care on a daily basis in her final years.

Special thanks to all who generously donated in lieu of flowers to the Child Evangelism Fellowship and The Faith Mission.
As it is difficult to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our appreciation for all who have helped and supported us as a family during this time of grief.
