Dr Ailbe BEIRNE
The family of the late Dr. Ailbe Beirne wish to offer our most sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement. We are very grateful to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, calls, social media messages, kind words, donations in lieu of flowers and attended the wake or funeral Mass, in person or via webcam link.
We would like to thank the staff in Ward 40 and the various teams who cared for Daddy in Altnagelvin and the local community over the last six months. We also extend our gratitude to his many friends and past colleagues who visited and sent well wishes over these months in hospital, which we know brought him great comfort.
Sincere thanks to Father Sean O'Donnell for the heartfelt funeral Mass and Fidelma McCormack for the beautiful music. Also to W J O'Brien & Son Funeral Directors, in particular Kieran, for the sensitive and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.
