Dr Roger (Ruairí) (Roy) BLANEY

Dr Blaney Roger (Ruairí) (Roy), Holywood Co. Down 2 July 2022 - died peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family. Beloved son of the late William Patrick and Mary Ellen Blaney (Lurgan). Survived by his loving wife Brenda and his devoted children Garrett, Ruth, Felim, Anya and Máire. Much loved brother of Patricia, Donal, Jim (RIP), Betty (RIP) and Olive (RIP). A dear brother-in-law to Gabrielle, Frances, Gerard, Jim, Margaret, and beloved father-in-law. He will also be greatly missed by his 14 grandchildren and his nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

Requiem Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11.00am in St Colmcille’s Church, Holywood (mass can be viewed live at https://www.stcolmcillesholywood.org/web-cam/).
Followed by burial in Redburn Cemetery at 1.00pm.
