The death has occurred of:
Dympna GRIBBEN
The family of the late Dympna Gribben wish to thank the many people who supported and sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. To all those who visited the wake, attended the funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged and even took time to write beautiful letters we assure you these were tremendously appreciated.
No words seem adequate to express our gratitude to all those in hospital and at home who cared for Mummy during her illness especially the staff of Craigavon and Belfast City Hospital, the Community teams of Armagh District Nursing Team, the Doctors and staff of the Friary Surgery, the carers from Ann's Home care and the Macmillan and Marie Curie team. All of you helped us ensure Mummy ended her life comfortably supported at home where she wanted to be.
We thank the priests of Armagh parish and in a special way Fr Emmanuel who administered the last rites of the church to Mummy and to Fr Barry Matthews who provided much needed pastoral support and who celebrated a very fitting and personal funeral mass. Thanks also to the sacristan who prepared the church and to the gravedigger who dug the grave. The mass was greatly enhanced by the music provided by Eilis Fox and her organist.
Finally we thank all at Mone funeral Directors for the complete, professional and dignified handling of all the funeral arrangements.
Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by daughters Helen & Joan, sons Colm Richard & Gerard sons in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Alice & Brigid & the entire Gribben & McNally family circle & friends.
Dympna's month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh on Saturday 1st March at 6:30pm.
