The death has occurred of:
Dympna McALEER
The family of the late Dympna McAleer wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on the recent death of our mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and sister-in -law.
We have been overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity and support family, friends and the wider community have extended to us at this sad time.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake, who phoned, sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or messages of support. To our wonderful neighbours for their support during Mummy’s illness at home and for their help over the wake and funeral, we are so indebted to you.
Thanks to the many people who attended the Requiem Mass or joined by webcam.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Curry for his visits to Mummy both in hospital and at home. For his spiritual guidance and for celebrating such a beautiful Requiem Mass, your support meant so much to us. A sincere thanks also to Patrick Slevin and to Margaret Ann Conlon for the beautifulsinging and uplifting music.
We cannot thank Joanna and Loughran Funeral Directors enough for their guidance and for such caring and professional support. We are also grateful to Stanley Bell and Sons for their help with traffic management on the morning of the funeral.
Thank you to Michael McElhatton and the staff of the Greenvale Hotel for providing refreshments afterward in the hall and to Paddy Loughran for his guidance.
Thanks also to the staff of the Oaks Family Practice for their care throughout the years and to the staff of ward C7 in Antrim Area Hospital for their dedicated and kind treatment of Mummy this Summer. A sincere thank you to the carers at home, for their attentiveness to Mummy. We wish to thank the district nurses for their care during her final weeks and Hilary from the palliative care team for the daily support we received.
Also, to the staff and drivers of Cookstown Community Rural Transport, your support and service made a real difference to Mummy over the last fifteen years.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust you will accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation.
