Acknowledgement

Wife Aisling, children, mother Margaret and family, of the late Eamon McLaughlin, 11 Virginia Court, offer a heartfelt thanks to all those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers, made donations, brought food, and helped with tea throughout the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us at such a sad time.

We extend a special word of thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and medical professionals that looked after Eamon throughout his illness in the Sperrin Unit, Ward 50 and Foyle Hospice. With a special thanks to Dr Malek and Staff nurse Carolann (sister-in-law) and Dr Paul McIvor. We will never be able to thank you enough for the utmost love and care you showed Eamon and our family during this time.

We would like to acknowledge Top of the Hill Celtic coaches, members, both past and present, Hillcrest Trust and greater Top of the Hill community for all the support and kindness to our family during this sad time.

A special thanks to Fr. Michael Canny for officiating such a beautiful service.

We would also like to thank Erin Carlin and Isobel Caldwell for the beautiful music.

Finally, sincere thanks to Kieran and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family’s deep appreciation.

Eamon's Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Trench Road on Tuesday 23rd June at 7pm.
