We, the family, and loved ones, of the late Eamonn Baker, who passed away on 1st May 2025 would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.

We would especially like to thank our entire family circle, friends, neighbours, everyone that helped at, and attended the wake, those who brought food, sent mass and sympathy cards, sent their condolences, attended the funeral and watched online. It gave us great comfort in knowing Eamonn was so well thought of.

A special word of thanks to Father Joe Gormley for celebrating the requiem mass in the thoughtful manner in which he did, and also for attending and supporting Eamonn during his illness. Special thanks, also, to Father Patrick Baker for concelebrating the mass and supporting the family.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and care staff who cared for Eamonn.

Additionally, we’d like to thank W J O’Brien & Son funeral directors, for the professional, compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, also for their kindness and support during our most difficult time.

Thanks to Michael and Eddie for the beautiful music, and to all that participated in the funeral mass.

Lastly, as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to all that supported and helped the family at this difficult time.

Eamonn’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st June in St Mary’s Church, Creggan at 12.15 pm
