Quiery, Edmund Thomas. 20th June 2023. Peacefully at home. Much loved husband of Pam, dad of Aisling, Pamela, Ed and Colm, grandpa of Farrah, Otis, Lucas, Lexie, Annie, Marley and Cara and brother of Greg, Marie, Nuala, Aidan and Niall. Loved by Simon, Faith, Katy and the wider family and friends.

He was a lifelong member and in his later years an honorary member, of his beloved Clandeboye Golf Club and an avid Man Utd supporter.

A service of thanksgiving will be held in Clandeboye Golf Club on Wednesday 28th June, 2023 at 12.30pm.

Funeral afterwards to Movilla Cemetery, Newtownards at 3.00 pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations may be sent if desired to the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund c/o S Clarke and Son Funeral Directors, 64 Newtownards Road, Bangor, BT20 4DR.

I have known Ed since childhood and was fully aware of the health problems he endured from a very young age. However, the courage and positive spirit he displayed throughout his life was truly remarkable, coupled with a wonderful sense of humour. His passion and success as an excellent golfer is testament to his positive outlook and zest for life. To me, Ed was an inspirational and very special person and he will be greatly missed.
