Acknowledgement
Eileen Clarke – Died 8 April 2025
The family of the late Eileen Clarke, Belvoir Park, Culmore wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy, love and gestures of kindness shown to us during our recent bereavement of our dearly beloved and beautiful mother, nanny and great granny.
To those who attended the wake and funeral mass, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, phone calls, floral tributes and all who helped us in any way we are forever thankful. Your kindness and support provided a great deal of comfort in our time of great sadness.
A special thankyou to Fr Shaun Doherty for the most beautiful, personal and memorable requiem mass. Thanks also to Fr Con McLaughlin who also concelebrated at the mass. To all the clergy who took the time to call to our home during the wake, we are extremely grateful for all your guidance and prayers. Thanks also to Lauren and Ben for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral mass. A special word of thanks to all in the Columba community for all the prayers and kindness you showed to our mum Eileen over the years. You all held a special place in her heart.
We would like to thank all the doctors and nurses in Altnagelvin Hospital who provided care to our mother and to the staff at Aberfoyle Surgery and Bradley’s Pharmacy, Culmore who always provided great care and attention. We her family will be forever grateful to you all.
A special thankyou to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Eileen’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Thursday 8 May at 7.30 pm in St Eugene’s Cathedral. All welcome.
