Eilish (Kathleen) Hughes RIP late of 72 Ballybeg Road, Washingbay Acknowledgement.
We, the sons and daughter of the late Eilish Hughes (nee Conway Ardboe), wish to express our gratitude to all who sympathized with us on our recent sad loss; those who called at the house; those who brought food or flowers; those who sent sympathy cards or mass cards; those who text or sent messages via social media; those who attended the wake/ funeral or joined in the Requiem Mass via webcam. We offer heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours, and colleagues for their kindness and support at this difficult time.
A special thank you to Canon Benedict Fee and Fr. John McCallion for their spiritual and pastoral care, and for delivering the most fitting homily and Requiem Mass. Mum got great comfort from Cannon Fees’ regular visits. Thanks to the musicians who include Sarah Hughes & Roisin McGlinchey’s beautiful singing; to Tommy Cross, Sacristan; to the readers and those who helped with the offertory procession.
We wish to thank everyone in the staff team who cared for our mum over the last few months in Ashbrook Care home Clonoe. A Special thank you to her Social worker Lisa Marie Coyle & to Dr Fitzsimmons from the Health Centre Stewartstown and to all the medical professionals.
Our thanks to Patsy Taggart Funeral Directors, for their empathy, guidance and support; and for the dignified and respectful manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.
Thanks to Kelly Anne Corr for the catering & refreshments after the funeral. Thanks to Brian Quinn of the Washingbay Centre for the Chairs/Catering resources & venue.
