We, the family of the late Eilish Scullion (RIP), wish to extend our sincere thanks to all those who offered sympathy and support to us following the death of our beloved wife/mother/grandmother/great-grandmother.

To all who attended and/or helped during the wake and funeral, those who sent mass/sympathy cards, donated to our chosen charity and who brought food; your kindness will always be remembered with deep appreciation. We especially thank our neighbours and friends from the Taghnevan, Lake Street and Kilwilke areas, and the staff at Clann Eireann Social Club.

We acknowledge all who cared for Eilish during her long illness. In particular, the healthcare professionals at Lurgan Integrated Care Team, staff at Ann’s Home Care, staff at McKeagney’s Chemist, North St. and the GPs at Wynne Hill Surgery. We thank you all for the care and attention you showed Eilish throughout her illness and especially for ensuring her comfort in her final days.

Thank you to Fr Murphy PP, St Peter’s Parish, Lurgan, for his prayers, guidance and celebration of Eilish’s Requiem Mass and to Niamh Murray for her beautiful singing contribution. To all the staff at Jack McLearnon’s Funeral Directors, and to Kieran Mulholland the gravedigger, we are truly grateful for the professionalism and dignity you showed throughout the wake, funeral and burial.

It is not possible to thank every person individually, but we hope this acknowledgement goes someway in conveying our heartfelt gratitude for the love and care shown to Eilish, and to us as a family, during this sad time.

Eilish’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St Peter’s Church, Lurgan, on Tuesday 5th August at 7pm.
