The family of the late Lily Gabbie wish to express their thanks and sincere appreciation to family, friends, neighbours and all who supported and sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who called at the family home, brought food, sent flowers, cards and messages of sympathy, and attended the funeral thanksgiving service. Your kindness, support and expressions of condolence have been a great comfort to us.
We extend our sincere thanks to Rev. Brian Small for his pastoral care, prayers and visits to the hospitals and residential home, and for conducting the funeral thanksgiving service. We also thank Angela Loughlin for playing the organ, and Jonathan Christie and David Robinson for managing the sound desk and recording.
Our thanks are also extended to Raffrey Kirk Session and Committee for their assistance and support at the Church, and to the Church family for their prayers, love and kindness shown to Mum.
A special word of thanks to the ladies of Raffrey Presbyterian Church and Farm House Treats for providing and serving the refreshments following the service, and for the care and thoughtfulness shown to the family.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Norman, Mark and Donna of Norman McBriar & Son Funeral Directors for the professional, dignified and compassionate manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.
Special thanks are extended to the doctors and nurses of the Ulster Hospital and Downe Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion, and to the staff of Glasswater Lodge for the love, care and kindness shown to Mum during her time as a resident.
We are deeply grateful to all those who generously donated in Mum’s memory to Raffrey Presbyterian Church and the Raffrey B.B. Uganda Fund.
