Elizabeth (Lily) Marley (née Campbell)

Elizabeth (Lily) Marley R.I.P.

We, the family of the late Elizabeth (Lily) Marley, Coharra Road, Portadown, would like to thank most sincerely, all those who sympathised with us, on our great loss. We would especially like to thank our entire family circle, friends and neighbours who helped at the wake. Thanks to those who called to the house, brought food, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards and attended the funeral, or followed it online. We extend our gratitude to all who donated, in lieu of flowers, to our chosen charity, Marie Curie.

We would like to thank the staff of Craigavon and Lurgan Hospital, Roxborough House and Loane House. The District Nursing team, Dr Armstrong, the carers from South Trust Domiciliary Care Team, Enable NI and the Marie Curie nurses, Mc Keagney’s Chemist
Portadown and O’Neills Pharmacy, Ballygawley, for everything they did for Mummy. Thanks to Margaret Marley for her Pastoral role, in bringing the Eucharist to Mummy and to Fr. Hannigan for attending her spiritual needs in the last months of her illness.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Clarke, Deacon Eunan McCreesh and sacristan, Francis Hagan, for the beautiful and respectful Requiem Mass. Thanks to our choir and musicians who helped celebrate mummy’s 93 years of faith, love and caring and especially organist, Pat McAlinden and soloist, Cliona Power.

Finally, to Hugh and Dermot Quinn who organised the funeral in a dignified and professional way. We offer you our heartfelt thanks. Thanks to Brian Nugent, for his attention to the grave. Thanks to Nancy Hall, for providing refreshments in the pastoral centre after the funeral. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Mummy will be sadly missed by her son Benedict, daughters Deirdre, Dolores, Carmel, Aideen, Roisin, Pauline, Fiona, Sinead and the late Colette RIP, her daughter-in-law and sons-in-law and her beloved large family circle.

Lily’s months mind will be celebrated on Wednesday 21st of May at 7:00pm in St. John the Baptist Church, Drumcree, Portadown.
