We, the husband, sisters, brothers and family circle of the late Elizabeth Crilly would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those to supported and sympathised with us following our sad bereavement. To those who telephoned, sent messages, called to the house, sent flowers, attended the wake and funeral, we thank you, it was very much appreciated. Your kind words, thoughtfulness and presence were of much comfort to us. A special word of thanks to those who travelled great distances to support us.
We are especially thankful to the team at Castlederg Surgery, the District nursing team, in particular Mrs Jackie Sproule who’s kindness and professionalism during Elizabeth’s illness and after her passing have been of immense comfort. To the consultants, nurses and staff at the North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin and to the team in Ward 50, we thank you for the care and compassion you gave to Elizabeth.
Heartfelt gratitude goes to Rev. Stephen Gaston and Rev. Bobby Orr, whose visits to Elizabeth throughout her illness always brought her great comfort. We would also like to thank you for the pastoral support and encouragement you have given us and continue to do so. To Rev. Bobby Orr, a special word of thanks for the beautiful funeral service.
Thank you to those friends and neighbours who have called to the house providing much appreciated company, support and in many cases food. To those who supported Elizabeth throughout her illness by prayer, letters, texts, phone calls and visits, you will never know how much that meant to her and the comfort she got from each and every one.
A special word of thanks to Armstrong Funeral Directors for the compassionate and dignified manner in which they undertook the funeral arrangements. To Susan Young, thank you for playing the organ beautifully for Elizabeth’s funeral service; to those who helped with car parking; to Barbara Pinkerton and her team for the lovely food and refreshments after the committal; to Garvetagh Church for the use of the hall and to the grave-diggers for preparing her final resting place.
To those who donated so generously to the North West Cancer Centre in lieu of flowers, thank you, your donations will greatly help another family going through their illness.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation.
