Elizabeth McParland (née McCann)
Elizabeth passed away peacefully at Kilwee Care Home in Belfast on 10th July 2026, surrounded by her devoted family. May she rest in peace.
Beloved wife of the late Seamus McParland and much-loved mother of Leontia (Dugald), Jacinta (Michael), Orlagh (Conall) and Roisin (Richard). Cherished grandmother of James, Emily, Joseph, Martha, Olivia, Isabel, Matthew, Anthony and Lucia. Loving sister of twin baby brothers Brian and John (deceased), Gerard (deceased), Bridget (deceased), Michael, Brian and Eugene.
Elizabeth will be reposing at John Doyle Funeral Home on Saturday 11th July 2026 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral leaving John Doyle Funeral Home on Sunday 12th July 2026 at 9.30 am for the 10.30 am Requiem Mass at St Mary’s Church, Mullaghbawn. Interment afterwards in St Malachy’s Cemetery, Ballymoyer, Whitecross.
Elizabeth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, her brothers and entire family circle and friends.
Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
