The death has occurred of:
Ella Margaret (Lila) MORRISON
The sons, daughters and grandchildren of the late Lila Morrison and their families wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement. Our appreciation firstly goes to all who called at the home, left in gifts, sent cards and messages, telephoned, attended the funeral service and donated to one or both of her chosen charities.
Our thanks too to the Rev Jonny McKane for his comforting words and pastoral support at the home and for his address at the thanksgiving service with its intricately interwoven theme pointing out the similarities between the craftmanship involved in her hobby of knitting and sewing and the workmanship of our Lord in our lives.
Not forgetting the ladies from New Row Presbyterian Church’s Catering Committee who provided the tea/coffee and tastefully served the food in the Church Hall after the thanksgiving service and to other members of the New Row team who worked behind the scenes including the organist and the personnel at the sound desk.
We would like to put on record our appreciation of, and gratitude to, the carers, nurses and all the other staff (including the doctors at the associated GP practice) at St James’ Lodge Care Home in Ballymoney for all the love and care which they showed on a daily basis to our mother over the past 15 months.
Lastly but not least, a very special thanks to Wades Funeral Directors for making all the arrangements and carrying out their services in such a caringly pleasant, dignified and co-operative manner.
Trusting that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
