Ellen (Nellie) Kerlin (née McCafferty)
Phillip and Dolores McCafferty, brother and sister-in-law of the late Ellen (Nellie) Kerlin, would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
We would like to thank the staff of Edenvale Care Home who looked after Nellie in the final months of her life. Thanks to Marian Brosnan and Linda Budd for their care which helped Nellie to live independently in her home for so long.
Thanks also to the neighbours of Glen Road, especially Teresa and Jack, Grace and Donna for their kindness to Nellie over the years.
We would like to thank Nellie’s nieces and nephews for their support: Brendan and Mary, Máire, Eileen, Mary, Bernadette, Margaret, Roisin, Patsy and Collette. A special thanks to Marie for all her help to Nellie and to us.
We are grateful to Monsignor McCanny for attending Nellie and Fr Lagan for his prayers and celebration of the funeral mass. A sincere thanks to Annemarie Hickey and Aidan Watkins for providing the beautiful requiem music.
Thanks to McClaffertys, funeral directors, for the sensitive and caring manner in which they carried out Nellie's funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our gratitude.
