The death has occurred of:
Emma Rodgers
We, the family of the late Emma Rodgers wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who supported us and continue to do so as we come to terms with the loss of our beloved daughter and sister.
We deeply appreciate the love, kindness and support extended to us through prayers, attendance of the wake and funeral, as well as those who sent mass and sympathy cards, brought food or made donations in lieu of flowers to the Evora Hospice.
Our thanks to Father Charles Byrne for his prayers, words of comfort and for making Emma’s funeral mass so meaningful and personal. We would also like to express our gratitude to Canon Frank Kearney and Father Colum Murphy who concelebrated the funeral mass; your presence was greatly appreciated.
To Anna Moore, thank you for the beautiful music and singing which added so much to the mass.
We would particularly like to acknowledge Colm and PJ from Peter McGinn Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and for the dignified manner with which they handled Emma’s funeral arrangements.
Thanks to Loft56 who provided refreshments following the funeral mass and to Rathfriland Parish Centre for the provision of additional seating for the wake.
To Dr Alison Megaw, the Rathfriland District Nursing Team, Life & Time and Marie Curie thank you for your care for Emma in her final days. Our most grateful thanks to her colleagues at the Evora Hospice for enabling Emma to fulfil her wish of returning home.
It is impossible to mention all those who have supported us during this difficult time. We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our sincere appreciation and thanks.
May the love and memories we carry of Emma in our hearts continue to guide and comfort us.
Emma’s months mind will be celebrated on Friday 1st August at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Cabra.
