The family of the late Ethel Smallwoods nee (Bratton) wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the loss of a beloved Mother, Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Grandmother, great-Grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Sincere thanks to those who called at the family home, attended the service, sent cards, brought sandwiches etc, offered support and made donations to Glendermott Parish Church Also to the ladies of the Parish Church who provided the funeral tea after the burial.
A special thanks to the emergency services for their professionalism and comfort in sensitive circumstances.
Thank you to David and Ruth Hay, and Sons, Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements. To the Piper, groundsmen and those involved in the burial.
Thanks to the Canon Robert Boyd MBE for his support to the family at a very difficult time. We could not have asked for a more fitting service, conducted in the garden of the family home she loved so much.
Thanks to Emma who read a beautifully composed poem on behalf of all the Grandchildren.
