Eugene Malachy McELEAVY
We, the family of the late Eugene McEleavy would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to our extended families, friends, kind neighbours, colleagues from St. Columb’s College and past pupils who travelled from far and near to attend Eugene’s wake and funeral. We also wish to express our deep appreciation for all the Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and texts and for the donations to Foyle Hospice.
We thank the medical teams of Altnagelvin hospital and the Foyle Hospice for their care and support throughout Eugene’s illness.
Our sincere thanks to Fr John McDevitt who celebrated the Requiem Mass and to Declan Carlin the organist.
Finally we would like to express our gratitude to W.J. O Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Eugene’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday March 9th at 6.30pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown.
