Siobhan, Bronagh, Fionnuala and Ciaran would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our sad bereavement. We would like to thank family and friends and all who helped us in any way, to Martin McBrearty, Carol O’Neill and Paul Boggs for the beautiful food throughout the wake. Mk’s for the faultless hospitality after the funeral. We wish to thank those who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent mass/sympathy cards; your kindness has provided comfort and support to us during this difficult time. Marcella, Imelda, Michelle, Aidan and Willie we are so appreciative of the support throughout the years of Dad’s illness especially in the final few weeks. Thanks to Fr Malachy and Fr Canning for anointing Dad and their spiritual support in the last few weeks in Melmount Manor, Fr Michael Doherty for his support throughout the wake, also a special thank you to Fr Declan Boland for his support in the final week of dad’s life and for the beautiful mass, you spoke so well about dad. Blondie and Brian (Hairdoo) your music was amazing, thank you for singing our special songs so well. A special thank you to the staff of Melmount Manor especially the Dennett Unit for the care, compassion and support given to dad and to us as a family throughout the four years dad resided here. We will never have enough words of gratitude for all that was done for dad and our family, you truly are amazing people. Thank you to Dr Mc Sorley, Mourneside Medical Centre for the care and attention given to dad throughout the years of his illness. Thanks to Jude and the staff of Quigley’s Undertakers for their professionalism and compassion throughout the wake and funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this gesture of our family's deepest gratitude.
