Acknowledgement & Months Mind
In memory of Eugene McCloskey, Ballymacallion.

The family of the late Eugene McCloskey, formally of Ballymacallion, 191 Legavallon Road, Dungiven - wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised and helped us during this very difficult time and all of those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards and attended Eugene's wake and funeral.

In particular we appreciate the support of: Family, Neighbours, Friends, Dungiven Parish, Gelvin Community Association, Drumsurn Bowling Club, St. Matthew’s GAC and former Northern Bank Colleagues.

Thanks also to the Rev Father Kelly for the dignified celebration of Eugene’s Requiem mass and Grainne Cooke for the beautiful singing and music.
We would also like to thank Rev Father Sweeney and Rev Father Lagan who attended Eugene during his illness and supported his family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Dungiven Surgery, Altnagelvin Hospital, Community Care Staff, Marie Curie and Foyle Hospice for the exceptional care, attention and kindness given to Eugene.

Our deep appreciation also goes to Thomas and Brendan O’Brien, Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified management of the funeral arrangements.

As an expression of their gratitude the family have made a donation to Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie on behalf of all of those who supported them.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude.

Eugene's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 22nd June 2025 at 10.15am in St Matthew’s Church, Drumsurn. Everyone welcome.
