Always loved, remembered and sadly missed
by her daughter Fiona xoxo.
Acknowledgement.
Fiona, daughter of the late Florrie Spence wishes to express her sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with her on the bereavement of her Mum. Thanks to everyone who attended the funeral, called at the family home, telephoned, sent cards, emails or messages, gave donations to St John Ambulance and helped in any way.
A special thanks to the Medical Team at the Royal Victoria Hospital for all the treatment and care that Florrie received. The kindness, empathy and support that they provided both Florrie and Fiona was very much appreciated. This also included the Chaplaincy team who in the last 24 hrs of Florrie’s life provided ongoing support in conjunction with the Rev Glasgow, who also kindly visited.
Fiona would also like to thank the Doctors, Nursing, Office and Pharmacy staff from Dalriada Family Practice, for their assistance and support over the last number of years. To the staff of McCaughan’s Chemist, who were always available to help her with anything she asked for, Fiona thanks you as well.
To Florrie’s Care workers. You were an amazing team who went the extra mile when Florrie needed it. You were not just her care workers you became her friends, and you cared.
Thanks also to Rev. Gary Glasgow who conducted Florrie’s funeral service and to the Ballycastle Presbyterian Church team for their assistance and the use of their buildings and equipment.
To everyone who came forward and assisted with the catering either with their time or providing food and refreshments, it was much appreciated.
To Robinson’s Funeral directors, Fiona appreciated David’s patience and how he was always willing to take a hundred calls on everything she had to ask. David and his team made a very difficult moment easier to navigate.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, Fiona hopes that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of her sincere appreciation.
