Florence ASHWOOD
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Florence Ashwood, who left us peacefully on 8th April 2024, at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Florence, of 22 Edenvale Gardens, was a devoted wife to John, cherished mother to John, Mark, Paul, and Martin, and a loving grandmother to Sophia. She will also be fondly remembered as a dear sister to Billy, Tucker, Frankie, Jackie, Kathleen and Howard.
A funeral service to celebrate Florence's life will be held on Friday, 12th April at St Mark’s Church, Ballymacash at 13:30.
The service will be followed by her burial at Lisburn New Cemetery Extension, Blaris Road, where she will be laid to rest.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Florence’s memory to Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke. Contributions can be made through Bobby Morrison’s Funeral Directors, 2 Manor Drive, Lisburn BT28 1JH.
We extend an invitation to all who knew and loved Florence to join us in honouring her memory. Your thoughts, prayers, and presence would greatly comfort the family during this difficult time.
