Fr Martin O.C.S.O. Dowley
Dowley (Our Lady of Bethlehem Abbey, Portglenone) 10th August 2022, (peacefully) Fr. Martin Philip O.C.S.O. RIP. Deeply regretted by his Cistercian Brothers and his relatives.
Fr Martin’s remains will be reposing in Our Lady of Bethlehem Abbey, Chapel for the duration of his wake. Visitors are welcome to call and pay their respects on Friday 12th August between 10am and 9pm and on Saturday 13th August from 9am until 12noon at which point his Requiem Mass will then be celebrated followed by burial immediately afterwards in the community cemetery. Our Lady of Bethlehem pray for him.
Fr Martin’s Requiem Mass will be broadcast live via “WJ O’Donnell & Sons Funeral Directors” Facebook Page” from 11.45am on Saturday 13th August.
For those in attendance, light refreshments will served at the Monastery Guest House, immediately after the burial on Saturday 13th August.
NB: At the request of Abbot Dom Celsus Kelly and in the interest of public safety, would everyone in attendance please follow the directions of the stewards on duty.
