Nanny, I'm sending a dove to Heaven, with a parcel on its wings.

Dearly-loved mother of Frances and son-in-law Jim.
Last night as I lay sleeping, an angel came to me.
I opened my eyes and stared at her, who she could be.
I looked a little closer and I saw a familiar face.
She was my mummy Jean saying she found her perfect place.
She told me she was happy, and asked me not to cry.
She said her pain was over, so I said my last goodbye.

I miss and love you so dearly, God knows, I wish you were here.
Tears fall from our eyes, like a river filled with grief. My only comfort now, is that, from pain, you've found relief.
