Frank passed away on the 26th of August, a widely respected, devoted family man and much-loved father, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thanks to those who telephoned, who sent Mass or sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu of flowers, left messages on-line or via social media and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam. Sincere thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many ways, to help us grieve as a family.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musicians Brighdin Colton, Courtney McAskie and Padhraic Colton who provided the beautiful music. Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As a family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who cared for Frank, especially the nurses, doctors and staff of the Royal Hospital Belfast and those of Ward 2 South in Belfast City Hospital. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest appreciation.
Frank’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday October 1st at 10am and may also be viewed via the Donacavey Parish Webcam, following the Mass Frank’s ashes will be interred in the adjoining cemetery.
