The family of the late Francis Conway would like to express their sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with them through their recent sad bereavement. A heartfelt thanks to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at our family home, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, or expressed condolences via telephone and social media, prepared food and who made tea for the wake, PD Coaches, Trevor Rutledge and those who helped parking cars; we are truly grateful. Our sincerest gratitude to Father James Devine for the beautiful Requiem Mass and we would like to sincerely thank Fr Brian Donnelly, Fr John Forbes, Fr Gerard Mongan, and Fr Francis Bradley for their spiritual attendance, guidance and support throughout Francis’s illness. Thank you to the doctors, nurses of Sperrin Family Practice and Altnagelvin Hospital. A special word of thanks to Brian and Jackie Maguire who provided great care with kindness, respect and dignity to Francis through his illness and for their endless support to the family. Thank you to Vera Donaghy who also provided great assistance, care and support. Thank you to all the grandchildren who took part in the Funeral Mass and sacristan, Patsy Mc Crory. Thanks also to Jackie and Eamon for providing such beautiful singing and to Maresa Monaghan for the instrumental music. Thank you to Philip Morris for the way all the arrangements were carried out, all in a very caring, professional and dignified manner and to the gravediggers for preparing Francis’s final resting place. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Francis’s Month’s Mind Mass will be on Wednesday 10th January 2024 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Rouskey.
Always loved and sadly missed by Bridie, daughters, sons, daughters and sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and entire family circle - Dunmoyle, Creggan, Desertmartin and Crockanboy.
