We, the family of the late Francis McNally would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped us during his illness and at the time of his death.

Firstly we are very grateful to all the healthcare professionals from Antrim and Magherafelt hospitals, the Parkinson's medical team, all the staff at Draperstown Surgery, the Doctors from Dalriada, O’Kanes Pharmacy, the District and Marie Curie Nurses and the Home Care teams for their dedicated and compassionate care.

We feel very indebted to everyone for their sympathy, generosity and support given to us on the death of a dearly loved husband, father & grandfather.

We thank our very kind neighbours, friends and relatives who sent messages of sympathy and flowers and to those who attended the wake, funeral, brought food and helped in various ways.

Thank you to Sixtowns Cross Community Group for the use of their facilities and equipment. A special word of thanks to Gavin & Seamus Conway who provided an efficient bus service at the wake and to the men who helped to park cars.

We took great comfort from the spiritual support that Francis and our family received from Fr Madden during his illness & at the time of his passing. We thank him for celebrating such a meaningful Requiem Mass and also thank Fr McGuigan and Fr Lagan for concelebrating the funeral mass.

We were deeply touched by the Guard of Honour outside the Church by Mr Michael O’Kane and pupils from St Mary's Primary school, Maghera. Thank you all very much.

The beautiful music provided by Jolene, Cahan and Eimear greatly enhanced the funeral service and we are all very grateful to them.

We thank John Craig for the lovely flower arrangements and the Church sacristans Anne Marie, John and Art for their commitment and work in St Patrick's Church. Thank you to the Doyle family for the lovely funeral meal in the Shepherd’s Rest.

We sincerely thank Michael and Noreen from O’Kane Funeral Directors for the dignified and respectful way in which they supported our family during Francis’ wake and funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please take this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Francis' month's mind will take place on Friday 23rd May at 7.30pm in Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown.
